Governor Hogan Cuts the Ribbon on Denton's New Visitor Center

Governor Larry Hogan (pictured center) was on hand to cut the ribbon at the grand opening of the Crouse Park Visitor and Heritage Center in Denton today. The ribbon cutting was the culmination of a project years in the making, spearheaded by Denton with support from the State Highway Administration, the Department of Housing & Community Development, the Governor’s Office, and OTD, which provided expertise and technical support in developing procedures and best practices for running the new center.

“I am very excited to be back at the Crouse Park Visitor and Heritage Center in Denton for the ribbon cutting,” said Governor Hogan. “Just over a year ago, I attended the groundbreaking for the center — at the time, Caroline County was the only county without a visitor’s center. We are very proud that this facility, which has been 14 years in the making, is officially open to welcome visitors and preserve the history of the community for years to come.”
