Coordinate with OTD staff, other state agencies and industry stakeholders on a strategic plan outline for an outdoor recreation Product Development Initiative. Action items include the addition of water access and activity sites to the VisitMaryland database, management of Hunt & Fish Maryland project, serving on the Maryland Boating Task Force, coordinating with horse-related heritage projects and developing and branding Maryland as a world-class cycling destination.
Coordinate with OTD staff, other state agencies and industry stakeholders on a strategic plan outline for a culinary Product Development Initiative. Specific areas of focus include but are not limited to seafood, home-grown/agri-tourism, Maryland-made, culinary packages and beer/wine/spirits.
Work with the Maryland Historical Trust, Southern Maryland Heritage Area and Maryland’s Piscataway peoples to develop and Indian Heritage Trail Master Plan.
